LITTLE HARBOR 54
JASMINE HIGHLIGHTS
Jasmine has gone through a comprehensive refit and her new teak decks, high gloss varnished joinery, and flawless stainless steel work only accentuate her already beautiful lines. A new rig, mast, and electric Leisure Furl boom were installed in 2018 making her sailing capabilities unparalleled by similar classics. A full array of B&G electronics equipment at the fingertips makes navigating a cinch. The walk-through from cockpit to deck is a great attribute seen on few center cockpit boats and is a great example of Ted Hood’s well-thought-out design.
Sail Plan
Jasmine has loads of sail options and can be sailed efficiently in any condition. The powerful new double spreader rig and electric leisure furl boom provides a larger sail area than her former in-mast furler. With her stylish carbon laminated sails it’s not uncommon to see nine knots under sail. The carbon fiber spinnaker pole makes deploying and gybing the spinnaker simple. There is a custom stainless steel bowsprit and a code 0 for lighter wind days can be flown from the sprit. The yacht can also be rigged with her stowaway inner forestay and sailed as a cutter rig.
Aft Deck
The wonderful aft deck of this center cockpit has two “gin and tonic” seats which are seamlessly integrated into the aft pulpit. Made from polished stainless steel and teak, these seats were also customized to be removable by pulling out a few pins. Under power or sail, guests can enjoy cocktails with an optimal vantage point. A view of the sails and the gorgeous juxtaposition of the stainless steel and high gloss brightwork greet passengers from the aft deck.
Center Cockpit
Jasmine has a practical center cockpit with space to eat or lounge. When trimming sails, every electric winch is within easy reach of the helm. The helm is complete with a new throttle and shift controls, a rebuilt steering system, and a leather bound wheel. Navigation is made easy by the B&G equipment mounted in a nav pod. At night, play your favorite tunes with stereo controls from the helm plotter and turn on the bimini LEDs which are dimmable and multi-colored.
Refinished Interior
Jasmine has a new custom interior. The sole of the boat has been completely removed, stripped down and refinished with a buffable awlcraft product. The owner also hired a designer to fit the boat with luxurious soft goods, making her extra comfortable throughout. While the sole was being refinished, all of the bilges and stringers were repainted. Each hatch lift has also been replaced. The level of care and detail that has been put into Jasmine is extraordinary and rare to see on a boat of this age.
Salon
The Salon has a large l-shaped settee to starboard and a dining table for six. The salon table also has an optional center line seat with adjustable back. Currently two teak sole panels sit in place of the seat giving the salon an open feel. Another settee sits to port with an aft-facing navigation station.
GALLEY
The u-shape galley is functional underway or at the dock. The front-load fridge and top-load freezer are spacious and easy to access. The new Dickenson range is gimbaled for cooking offshore. There is also additional freezer space in the well-situated bar area in the companionway that leads to the aft cabin.
CABINS
Jasmine’s cabins feature beautiful teak joinery throughout, ample storage, and cedar lined closets with space for hanging clothes. The aft stateroom has split double berths and a private head with shower. This cabin also has a separate AC zone, making it an optimal space for sleeping. Forward on Jasmine, there is also a mid bunk cabin. It is situated across from the forward head/shower and features its own AC, storage lockers, and cedar lined hanging locker.
Forward Cabin Workroom
On a quality cruising sailboat, a place to work without damaging the fine interior is paramount. Jasmine is blessed with a workbench in the forward cabin with a stainless steel top. Bench cabinets overhead and below is a great spot to store your tools and spares. When extra guests are on board, a single berth sits across from the workbench. There is also ample space for sail storage and the large overhead hatch can be used to launch the spinnaker.

Once back in Lauderdale the owner decided to bring the vessel back to better than her former glory. This included a brand new Seldon mast (150K) and all rod rigging, a Leisure Furl boom, Full electronics refit, $43,000 in custom Stainless work and many many improvements.
