Cockpit


The MKII cockpit of the Hinckley Talaria 55  is perfect for entertaining. With seating for 6, her 3 cocktail tables can be set up for dining or cocktailing. Her wet bar includes an ice maker and beverage cooler. Hot and cold running water are “on tap” in the aft sink.

Main Salon


Upon entering Unbroken’s Main salon you immediately feel a sense of comfort surrounded by the warm tones of Cherry and the highest quality designer soft goods. The large windows and overhead hatches of the Mk II allow ample light into the space creating the perfect balance of coziness and openness to the outside environment.

Helm


Unbroken’s helm boasts two Stidd Admiral 500N seats to starboard and a large custom Stidd Admiral twin bench to port. All three seats are electrically operated for maximum comfort. Gazing at her mahogany dash, the twin Raymarine chartplotters and thoughtfully laid out electronics package and Jetstick control system make navigation a breeze.

Galley


The Talaria 55 galley was laid out with entertaining in mind. Designed primarily for entertaining and extended cruising, she has large refrigerator and freezer drawers , a wine cooler, a bar area and ample storage for provisions. Her galley is laid out to accommodate two comfortably for cooking, bar tending and serving guests.

Master Cabin


Upon entering the spacious Master Stateroom, the centerline queen berth is accessible on both the port and starboard sides. Several storage lockers includinglLarge his and hers hanging lockers provide ample storage even for long voyages. The large Master head is accessed to port as you enter the Stateroom and features the same “teak deck” style sole with a large shower. The layout offers just the right balance of space, storage, and comfort while cruising.

Master Head


The large en-suite Master Head features a “teak deck” style sole, satin-finished Cherry bulkheads with hi-gloss highlights, and Arctic Blueberry Corian countertops with a Stainless Steel undermount sink. The head is aft and to port of the Master Stateroom and features a large separate shower as well as large storage lockers with raised panel Cherry doors.

VIP Cabin


The VIP Stateroom located to Starboard is clad in Cherry and features an ensuite head with a large shower accessible through a private door. There is a flexible berth arrangement that can be converted from a twin lower berth with one single berth above. Additionally, the twin berths can be slid together to form large double berth with a filler cushion. The Upper single berth can also be lowered to create Pullman-style inboard facing settee.

HULL & DECK

Unbroken’s Hull is constructed utilizing Hinckley’s DualGuard® composite construction utilizing a Kevlar and E-glass outer skin and aircraft grade end grain balsa below the waterline. She features a Carbon Fiber inner skin. All materials are laminated in Vinylester resin using the patented Seaman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP®) for unparalleled strength and stiffiness and weight savings.

HULL FEATURES:

  • Marelon thru-hull fittings with ball valve seacocks are utilized below the waterline.
    Bronze seacocks, thru-hull fittings and sea strainers are utilized on the Main engines, auxiliary generator and Seakeeper raw water cooling system.
  • Stainless Steel half-round protection on both the upper and lower rub rails provide superior impact ressistance.
  • Opac Mare oversized swim platform in Flag Blue with teak decking and stainless steel half round for greater impact resistance. The swim platform Hydraulically actuates to launch the tender and provide access for snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, paddle boarding and myriad water-based activities.

Unbroken’s deck is constructed from an E-glass outer and inner skin with aircraft grade end grain balsa and closed cell foam core, laminated with Vinylester resin using the patented Seaman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP®).

These materials and building techniques provide for a superior finish, offer  greater resistance to osmosis, deliver a high degree of stiffness & stiffness/weight ratios, and greater hull strength against impact damage and thermal insulation.

Access to the starboard side the deck is provided by a coaming door to starboard with a positive locking latch for safety, when not in use.

The SYRENS WiFi hotspot enables multiple WiFi devices using both external WiFi signals and a Cellular network with 2’ antenna for extended range for connection to WiFi hotspots. A 4’ digital cellular antenna with amplifier allows for an extended range cellular network connection. A Lan-Cell 2 high performance 3G cell router is included in the communication package.

ENTERTAINMENT EQUIPMENT:

  • Samsung 32”1080p LED monitor with Samsung Bluray DVD Player. The system is set up for Direct TV. The flat screen TV on a powered lift retracts flush behind the port seats in the Main Salon.

  • Tilting trash bin is located beneath galley sink for easy access.
  • Four recycling bins are located in a deep drawer inboard under the companionway steps.

Upon entering the spacious Master Stateroom, you pass through the large Cherry raised panel entry door. The aft facing centerline queen berth is accessible on both the port and starboard sides. Large his and hers hanging lockers are located outboard on either side aft of the berth providing ample storage even for long voyages. Additional storage is found in the lower lockers outboard of the berth which feature flip down raised panel Cherry doors for easy access. Above those lockers, are large shelves with cubbies underneath for stowage of small personal items. Above the shelves are two lockers on either side featuring shelves and allowing for even more storage. A large concave bullseye mirror hangs above the berth flanked by two wall sconces which provide ample light for reading. The aft bulkhead to port features a recess with a flat panel LED television. Above the berth is a large hatch with an integral Oceanaire Screenshade allowing Natural light and ventilation into the space. The large Master head is accessed to port as you enter the Stateroom and features the same “teak deck” style sole with a large shower.

MASTER STATEROOM FEATURES:

  • A Queen-sized mattress was constructed by Handcrafted Mattress Company and features four 8.5” medium plush pillowtop innerspring. The Mattress is hinged to allow access to the storage locker below.
  • The Mattress is covered with a fitted coverlet of Delany and Long Splash Red fabric with Seasand Red piping
  • There is a Safe installed under the Master bunk for securing your valuables
  • Custom alcoves are located to port and starboard outboard at the forward end of the bunk for small personal items
  • A 26” LG LED monitor is recessed into the port bulkhead. A Bose SoundDock can be connected to the monitor to improve the sound quality of the television monitor
  • An Oval shaped Concave bullseye mirror is mounted on the forward bulkhead above the berth
  • A large overhead hatch with Oceanaire Skyscreen blind/screen provide ventilation and enhance privacy

MECHANICAL SYSTEMS

Built as a the most highly optioned Talaria 55’ at the time of her construction, no expense was spared on UNBROKEN. She was spec’d with Caterpillar’s C-18 ACERT 1150 HP common-rail main engines which currently benefit from Caterpillars Platinum Plus warranty. This warranty was put in place following the expiration of the factory warranty and covers all engine components and associated engine equipment including the display panels and controls. The controls include a cruise control feature enabling the Captain to chose any desired RPM while operating the vessel with ease. Her Upgraded Northern Lights 18KW Generator can handle all operational and domestic loads even at times of peak consumption. The addition of her Seakeeper 9 Gyro and Lenco Autoglide trim tabs enhance stability and performance characteristics. The Dometic Chilled water system features three stand alone units and is designed with redundancy in mind. The system can operate even if one of the chillers should fail.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Unbroken features two 220/125V, 50 AMP shore power services with shore entry breakers per ABYC standards and individual isolation transformers for dockside protection. Each shore power cord has a dedicated Glendenning Cablemaster and is easily operated from the the transom mounted three way momentary switches or via the wireless remote controls. She benefits from the addition of her upgraded 18KW Northern Lights Auxiliary Generator which was installed in 2015, ensuring ample power for all operational and domestic needs.

Her Custom electrical panel features circuit protection for each individual function on both the AC and DC portions of the panel and is clearly labeled for ease of operation. All voltages and amperages are monitored by the digital voltage and amperage meters located at the top of the electrical panel and are protected by a clear tinted acrylic door for safety and allows all voltages and amperages to be monitored at a glance.

24-VOLT DC SHIP’S SERVICE:

  • The house bank is comprised of Four 8D AGM batteries for the main house bank located forward for equal weight distribution.
  • The starting bank is comprised of four, 4D AGM batteries for the main engines and auxiliary generator.
  • The 24V system is protected by a common wire bonding with a minimum branch wire size of #8 AWG tinned copper per ABYC standards.
  • Heavy-duty Guest battery switches are used for both the port and starboard starting banks and offer ability to parallel to the Starting Batteries. The auxiliary generator also utilizes it’s own heavy-duty Guest battery switch for isolation.
  • The start banks include Mastervolt 12/24Volt start battery isolators
  • Two Balmar® High output alternators, one on each engine rated at 80-amps/ 24Volt DC, charge the house bank
  • Two 24-Volt-DC battery chargers. One 100-amp unit manages the House bank and one 60-amp unit

240/125 VOLT AC SYSTEM:

  • 240/125 VOLT-60 Hz AC is supplied from the Shore Power
  • Two240/125/V Power inlets are rated at 50-amps each
  • 125-VOLT AC power is provided from one leg of the shore power and through the Mastervolt Inverter when AC power is not present.

GENERATOR:

The Northern Lights 18 Kw generator installed in 2015, is rated at 240-Volts AC-60 Hz. and is mounted in a rigid sound shield outfitted with a Hobbs hour meter, and is protected by a high temperature water shutdown, low oil pressure shutdown and shutdown bypass switch. The control panel os located conveniently next to the electrical panel in the passageway forward of the pilothouse for ease of operation while managing the electrical system.

  • Muir Hydraulic windlass with low profile wildcat mounted in anchor well
  • Custom 316 stainless steel bow roller for primary anchoring system

  • Four Fenders with fleece Maine Pointe fender covers for abrasion resistance
  • Two Aqua Signal Navigation side lights, one white Aqua Signal steaming light mounted at masthead and one white Aqua Signal stern light flush mounted in the transom.

COAST GUARD SAFTEY EQUIPMENT:

  • Four 2-lb. Type B-1 fire extinguishers for class A, B, and C fires and Fireboy automatic fire system installed in engine room.
  • Olin Marine safety flare kit with all requisite flares, includes two hand held flares, four parachute flares and two orange smoke flares
  • Manual sound producing device per CFR part 46
  • Eight man Viking Liferaft mounted on coach roof with hydrostatic, automatic release.(currently due for recertification)

TENDER:

  • Eleven foot Nautica tender with Yamaha 20 HP four stroke outboard motor and 6 gallon fuel tank.
