Stylish Fast Cruising

Elan’s designers look across the brand for inspiration and this is seen on the 45.1 which introduces lounge seats and dual cockpit tables to the Impression line. As the number of people in your party or family grow, the 45.1’s innovative features absorb the increased crew with grace and style that is apparent in every facet of her overall design.

Detailed To Perfection

This design creates an uncluttered, spacious cockpit with a clear path from the drop down transom to the companionway. The width of the 45.1 cockpit can be utilized without having to stretch to the table to take a bite during dinner.

Like all Elan’s the 45.1 Impression features VAIL hull lamination which makes for a stronger stiffer hull. This building technique sets Elan apart from would be competitors.

Optional inmast furling makes easy sailing even easier. The ability to “drop” a mainsail in a couple of minutes makes for simple furling and an easy trip to the anchorage.

These uber comfortable places to read, sun, gather, and more are unique in boats this size. The flexibility this element brings to cockpit enjoyment is appreciated by everyone aboard.

Aft cabins port and starboard are excellent places for your crew to occupy. Elan has introduced a large hull port in each cabin to let the sun shine in and create an intriguing design feature when looking at the 45.1 from afar.

At 45 feet owners have choices to make their Elan a boat that suits their specific cruising needs. Cabin choices, interior layouts and design features are all available on the 45.1.

The Impression 45.1 cockpit is truly expansive. What’s remarkable, however, is that by incorporating the split cockpit table into the design, the large cockpit is also incredibly secure while sailing. There are excellent handholds throughout and good corners to nestle into when heeling. The open foredeck and optional sunpad remind all that, most of the time, you are at rest and level for sunbathing or napping.

Well-thought-out features allow for safe movement fore and aft while underway, yet provide two distinct areas of functionality in the main cabin. The galley is a comfortable and attractive working space, extending the entire length of the cabin on the starboard side with ample counter space, a large double-basin sink, and a vertical fridge with freezer compartment. As with all Impression models, the light coming in and excellent vision out is a hallmark of the design.

The Impression 45.1 offers two layouts. The four cabin version maximizes in-cabin sleeping space while minimizing overall storage space. If you need a couple more sleeping spots, the main cabin seating can be made to become another double berth.
