Performance Meets Luxury

The GT6 is the culmination of Elan’s design team merging performance, style, and comfort. A performance cruiser extraordinaire with all the luxury comforts you would expect on a cruising yacht, the GT6 is also a successful racer with all the options necessary to overpower the competition.

CABINS: 2 or 3

Elements Of Style

The GT6 hull has a sweeping line from the bow to the quarter chine that encompasses three large hull ports. These ports are not only a striking design element, they bring magic light into the cabins that’s been reflected and refracted by the water’s surface.

The flush foredeck with trimless, flush-deck hatches creates an amazing comfort zone while cruising a large, flat, secure, work deck for the foredeck performance crew.

The profile view of the all new GT6 shows stunning restraint from the design team. With raised freeboard, an overly tall raised saloon is not necessary for interior headroom. But if you raise the freeboard too high the GT6 could look out of proportion. The team worked together to put perfect proportions on paper. The result is the definition of sleek.

Sailors in motion need clean pathways above and below, well-placed handholds, minimal deck fixtures, excellent rigging choices, and more. Working with Humphreys Yacht Design, and S.A. Porsche, The Elan design team has created a magnificently elegant and ergonomic piece of sailing art.

When the Elan GT6 is sailing at speed, the water parts cleanly, runs along the hull and separates from the transom with no hint of a struggle. Being easily driven is a key hull component for attaining max speed for miles and miles when cruising. This same hull form provides performance sailors with the tools necessary to point high, reach fast, and run faster. Remarkably, this hull form also provides for an excellent and luxurious cockpit.

When stepping below deck on the GT6, attention to detail becomes an apparent theme. Ample storage is expertly hidden behind beautiful iroko cabinetry and under comfortable seating. The full-width forward galley continues the max storage plan and is located in the spot with the most comfortable motion that is the best place to put the weight. The fixtures, the cushions, the style, and the attention to detail all work with design to create a space you’ll want to call home.

For maximum family performance cruising fun the three cabin, two head version of the GT6 interior is an excellent balance between in-cabin sleeping and storage. And when the kids have guests, the main salon table can be designed to drop into a fourth double. Racers will like the overall weight savings and extra sail storage components of the two cabin version.
