Sleek & Modern

The CMY 161 has multi-level lounge areas, designed for comfort and entertainment. The upper deck is spacious and features wrap around seating, plus a concealed navigation station that allows full control of the boat with throttle controls, joystick, auto pilot, and chart plotter. The aft deck has folding glass panels that seal the interior for climate control, yet can stow fully outboard to allow a completely open salon/aft deck entertainment area.

OXE Diesel Outboards

The CMY 161 is powered by triple OXE Diesel 300hp outboard motors developed in conjunction with BMW. These outboards consume up to 40% less fuel compared to gas outboards. The 900hp of total power allows for a cruising speed of 24 knots and a top speed of up to 27 knots.

Adaptable Powering

Adaptable Powering allows you to utilize only the number of engines and horsepower required to do the task at hand. Run all 3 engines for top speed, 2 for moderate cruising, or just the center engine for casual cruising or long-distance efficiency. The engines that are not running are raised out of the water to minimize drag.

Efficient & Eco-Friendly

The combination of OXE Diesel Outboard Motors and Adaptable Powering allows you to greatly reduce fuel consumption, operating costs, and pollution. A truly efficient and eco-friendly yacht.

Eco Mode = Increased Range

Switch the yacht into “ECO Mode” and it will run solely using the center motor. The outer two engines are raised out of the water, minimizing drag and fuel consumption. Traveling at displacement speeds of about 7 knots, the CMY 161 can cover a range of over 2,000 nautical miles using a minimal 1/4 US Gal of fuel per nautical mile.

Simplified Maintenance

Engine maintenance is simplified by easy access. The front of the engines are accessible when lowered. When raised, the gearbox and props can be serviced from the rear swim platform. If required, engines can be unbolted and easily removed for service, repair, or upgrade without any costly deck or interior work.

Galley Up Layout

The CMY 161 is designed for comfort and entertainment. The salon features versatile seating areas along with a well-appointed galley that has ample counter space and storage. There are two layout options available for the main salon area.

The Galley Up Layout is a more open layout where the kitchen is incorporated as part of the salon and features a multi-purpose breakfast & bar style counter.

Galley Down Layout

The Galley Down Layout, positions the galley just steps down from the main salon floor. This allows the galley to be separate and tucked out of sight, but it is still open enough to be socially connected to the rest of the salon area. This option also provides additional dining and lounge seating areas in the salon.

Owner’s Suite

The CMY 161 Master Cabin is bright and spacious with an oversized queen-sized bed. The large skylight with opening hatch provides ample sunlight and fresh air. The cabin also has a luxurious en-suite head appointed with high-end fixtures and a full shower stall.

VIP Guest Cabin

The guest cabin features two single beds that can combine to create a larger berth for two people. There is also a generous amount of space with a closet for hanging clothes, plus a drawer and under berth storage.
